Just for the record:
In 2008 I put some pinstripe flames and emblems on a customer's HD tank, and proudly published pix on my website. Coupla months later, I see Harleys with my design on them all over the place. Now while I am kinda proud to have created such a popular design, I am a bit miffed that nobody even asked for permission to use it for their crummy little sticker shops.
Oh well. After this post, some guys can now brag about having a real TOM design on their $15k HD, for a fraction of the price of an original! So thrifty!

Vintage Topolino Dragster!

Now here's something you don't paint every day, esp. on this side of the pond. This car belongs to the vintage dragster collection of a man in Northern Germany, and yes, he races them! It was built in the US, where for some time, it was even licensed and used on public roads! In Germany, it was restored, a lot of new stuff was fabricated and built in, and the fibreglass shell was painted metalflake red. The owner wanted to go with a 60s / Mexican theme, and had me put on the writings and pinstripes.

A hard summer's work!

Would you believe that I was so busy all spring and summer I hadn't found time to update the blog? (That's a rhetorical q. :) Well here's some of the stuff I did in the last few months. Too bad I'm such a lousy photographer or there had been many more pix! Another big project from last year, the Steinmann Topolino dragster is finished now too. Watch out for an upcoming feature soon in Street Magazine and of course on this blog!
